It's a picture!

The Friends of Greenhead Park had a busy – and productive – time at the Kirklees Summer Show which was held over the weekend of 10/11 August. As well as running our information stall and providing refreshments, we had great fun making an attractive collage with children visiting the show. Youngsters – and some adults too! – got stuck in to making fabric flowers and colouring in bees and butterflies to create a colourful flower garden.  The finished artwork, now on display in the Greenhead Park conservatory, is pictured below.
It was good to talk to the many visitors to our stall – and a big thank you goes to everyone who helped make our activities at the Show a success.
