Help our local wildlife

The wild learning area under construction last year

Join Greenhead Park Nature Club and members of the Friends of Greenhead Park on Monday 28 October to help give a boost to our local wildlife.  We will be working in the Park’s wild learning area (below the War Memorial) from 10am to 12noon, planting spring bulbs and building homes for wildlife. We’ll also be sprucing up the learning area and making a new table and benches.
This free event is part of the RHS Wild About Gardens Week and volunteers of all ages are welcome to join in. There’s no need to book but please note that children must be accompanied by an adult. We’ll provide materials and tools but, if you have them, it would help if you could bring gardening gloves and a trowel.
