Getting to the park

Greenhead Park is a short walk or bus ride from Huddersfield town centre – frequent buses from Huddersfield bus station and Westgate (near both the bus and train stations) stop by the main park gates on Trinity Street. You can find more details of bus services on the Metro website.

Cars are not allowed into the park and on street parking around the park can be hard to find, especially at busy times. Some parking spaces are time limited to two or three hours. There are some disabled parking bays near the park entrances.  Springwood car park is the nearest town centre car park,  a 5 – 10 minute walk from the main park gates. There is also a small Pay & Display car park behind the Conservatory (entrance in Park Avenue) including disabled parking bays. Customers of The Park cafe can get one hour’s parking refunded.
