March 2024

As well as the regular weekly activities, there’s a variety of other events and attractions which vary from month to month. Outdoor events are weather permitting. Please note that some events need to be booked in advance.

Friday 1 March

Registration for new walkers is on the first Friday of every month at 10am,  with training provided for people new to Nordic walking. Once you’ve registered you can join the group any Friday morning at 10am – walking poles are available to borrow free of charge.

Monday 25 March to Friday 29 March

10am – 2pm Call in at The Park café at the conservatory to take part in a family Easter Egg trail. Then just unscramble them to make a word, and return to the café to enjoy a children’s lunch box and claim your Easter egg. Cost: £7.95 per child which includes a lunch box with cheese, ham, or tuna sandwich, plain or cheese & onion Pom-Bear crisps, orange or apple juice carton and a biscuit.  £1 from each purchase goes to Friends of Greenhead Park for projects in the park.

Friday 29 March
